QR Ph

Overview

QR Ph is the Philippines' national QR code standard that enables interoperable QR payments across participating banks and electronic wallet providers. Customers can pay using any QR Ph-enabled banking or e-wallet application without requiring the merchant to support each payment provider individually.

How Customers Pay with QR Ph

Customers can complete payments using any QR Ph-enabled banking or e-wallet application.

For both online and in-store purchases, customers are presented with a QR Ph code to scan using their preferred QR Ph-enabled banking or e-wallet app. Customers then review the payment details and authorize the transaction within the app before the payment is completed.

How Maya Processes QR Ph Payments

When a customer authorizes a QR Ph payment, Maya securely routes the payment request through the QR Ph network to the customer's selected financial institution or e-wallet provider for authentication and authorization. If the payment is approved, Maya returns the payment result, and funds are settled to the merchant according to the applicable settlement schedule.

The available QR Ph payment experience depends on the Maya product being used.

Requirements

To accept QR Ph payments, you must:

• Have an active Maya merchant account with QR Ph acceptance enabled.
• Use a Maya product that supports QR Ph.

If QR Ph has not yet been enabled for your merchant account, contact your Maya representative.

Payment Flow

1. The customer selects QR Ph as the payment method.
2. The customer initiates the payment using the applicable QR Ph payment experience.
3. Maya generates or presents a QR Ph code.
4. The customer scans the QR Ph code using their preferred QR Ph-enabled banking or e-wallet application.
5. The customer authorizes the payment in their banking or e-wallet application.
6. Maya receives the payment result and returns it to the checkout experience or payment terminal.
7. Approved transactions are settled to the merchant according to the applicable settlement schedule.
