Should you encounter PIN-related errors listed below, ensure that the customer entered the correct card PIN and consider advising the customer to retry with a different card.

If the issue persists, contact your designated Maya Relationship Manager or call the Maya Business Support hotline .

RC 71 or 2071: PIN not changed

RC 88 or 2088: Cryptographic Failure

RC 05 or 2005: Funding Account was not Honored/ General Decline

RC 96 or 2096: System Error

RC 98 or 2098: Acquirer Timeout

RC 75 or 2075: Allowable Number of PIN Tries Exceeded



Contact the issuing bank

Should the transaction encounter any errors listed below, inform the customer to contact their issuing bank and retry the transaction using a different card.

RC 01 or 2001: Incomplete Transaction

RC 04 or 2004: Funding Account Status is Pick-up CR Problem or Fraud/ Capture Card

RC 41 or 2041: Funding Account Status is Lost

RC 42 or 2042: Funding Account Status is Stolen

RC 57 or 2057: Transaction Not Permitted to Issuer/ Card Holder

RC 58 or 2058: Transaction Not Permitted to Acquirer / Terminal

RC 62 or 2062: Restricted Card

RC 03 or 2003: Invalid Merchant

RC 12 or 2012: Invalid Transaction

RC 13 or 2013: Invalid Amount

RC 14 or 2014: Invalid Funding Account Card Number

RC 15 or 2015: Invalid Issuer

RC 70 or 2070: Invalid transaction - contact issuer

RC 76 or 2076: Recipient Funding Account is Invalid

RC 77 or 2077: Monthly Cash Advances Maximum Limit exceeded

RC 78 or 2078: Invalid / Non-Existent Account
