In line with BSP and AMLC’s regulatory requirement to monitor funding transactions, Maya will be releasing changes to the Payment Gateway API by April 27, 2023 that will affect merchants under the categories below:
New marketplace object for Payment Processing Platform
In compliance with Visa’s mandate to support new foreign retailer indicator for marketplaces, Maya will be releasing changes to the Payments Processing Platform by April 5, 2023 that will affect the merchants classified as a marketplace and with MCC value 5262.
New Recipient Object Field For Payments Processing Platform

Assets Repository Upgrade for Login with Maya
Maya’s technical team will conduct a system upgrade for the assets repository of Login with Maya. The upgrade will happen on May 3, 2023, 10pm (GMT+8).
Added notification event for CHECKOUT_SUCCESS webhook
Merchants who are subscribing to CHECKOUT_SUCCESS
webhook will be notified when a transaction will change status to AUTHORIZED
or CAPTURED
by end of January 2023.
New Error Codes for Payments Processing Platform
There will be new error codes for Maya’s Payment Processing Platform which will be rollout on October 24, 2022.
New webhook data values for Pay with Maya
Maya Business' Online Payments will introduce new features and improvements to Pay with Maya. These improvements will include new webhook data behavior once merchants will use the new Pay with Maya experience.
New Production URL Hostname and Migration Guide for Online Payments
Effective July 12, 2022 10pm PHT, the new Production API URL Hostname for Maya Payment Gateway will be https://pg.maya.ph.
